For an international company creatieven.com is looking for a designer textile. The company is specialized in custom made carpets.The designer will translate customer requests into a commercial design proposal based on: design expertise on colour and structure, yarn/machine opportunities, segment trend analysis and sales/customer contacts. He or she has close communication with the architects for good understanding of the customer expectations.
The designer has a Bachelors degree Academy of Arts (Design Academy) or another textile or design education with some years of textile experience in a production environment. And has a great feeling for colors and design trends within the international industry. Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes is a big plus. He or she knows how to deal with deadlines, has accurate working skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Dutch and English is required.
